Curiosity meets science in our exploration of how penguins keep dry underwater. Explore how these incredible birds stay dry in water and connect it to something we use every day: waterproof boots! It’s a fun-filled session of discovery and hands-on learning!

Curious in the Classroom is a FREE hands-on discovery activity included with admission on Saturdays and runs sessions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Reading Science Center is a 501c3 nonprofit with the mission to foster the love of science through exciting and experiential STEM education for children and families in the Greater Reading community. Visit us on Tuesdays or Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to experience 50+ hands-on exhibits, the Neag Cell Lab, and Curious in the Classroom!

Admission is $10 per person. Children under 2 are free. We validate parking in the Double Tree Convention Garage- please bring your license plate number when you enter the Reading Science Center and check in with a staff member.
