The Reading Science Center’s third annual Celebrate Science Day is ready for takeoff at its new location – Reading Regional Airport!

The Reading Science Center (RSC) has been awarded a $142,000 grant from the Neag Foundation to support expanded access to science learning opportunities for children and families across Berks County.

Sisters in STEM is participating in this year’s Canstructure competition, building a structure entirely from canned goods to support Helping Harvest. We are working to collect 750 cans by March 6 and are accepting both canned good drop-offs and monetary donations. A $25 gift helps purchase an average of 20 cans and moves us closer to our goal while supporting local families facing food insecurity.

The Reading Science Center is continuing to strengthen its learning environment and educational programming thanks to support through Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP).
